The four fuels of entrepreneurship
Money. Credit. Friends. Family.
In 2017, I had them all.
β
An 840 credit score
β
A strong portfolio and flush bank account
β
A large circle of friends
β
My family
Today?
I have my wife, my daughter, and a few real friends.
The rest got burned up.
π° Money β Cash is the best fuel. When itβs gone, thereβs no debt hangover.
π³ Credit β The fuel of desperation. 20% interest is brutal. I donβt even know my FICO score anymore.
π€ Friends β When you work all the time, the invites stop coming.
π¨βπ©βπ§ Family β The only one I refused to fully sacrifice.
I came close.
Too close.
But I realized something before it was too late:
π₯ Money can be made back.
π₯ Credit can be repaired.
π₯ Real friends will understand.
π₯ But family? Once itβs gone, itβs gone.
So if youβre feeding the fire, choose your fuel wisely.
Because success means nothing if you have no one left to celebrate it with.
