I am Jimi Hendrix (in business, at least)
"Well, I stand up next to a mountain and I chop it down with the edge of my hand." - Jimi Hendrix.
I snapped this picture in Nashville, Hendrix was just on another level.
He played guitar his way, flipping a right-handed guitar upside down and making it sing.
A true master.
If the great business leaders of my lifetime were rockstars, and I had to pick one to emulate, it would be Jimi Hendrix.
Playing the business game the Hendrix way.
I’ve always lived life fast, too fast at times.
Since 2022, I’ve slowed down just a bit, but I’ve never lost my edge.
Because I’ve learned this: a fast life with no balance leads to a fast death.
When I finally “grow up,” I’d like to think I played the business game the same way Hendrix played the guitar, hard as hell.
My Hendrix experience in business
The way I build companies and systems... It’s different.
I’ve seen a lot of frameworks and processes, but the ones I’ve built are as unique as the Hendrix guitar riff.
Voodoo Child is one of my favorite songs, his words hit like a hammer.
His sound leveled mountains.
Maybe one day I’ll produce a "Voodoo Child" of my own, a business or creation that shakes the world.
Until then, I’ll keep playing my song.
Question: If you had to select a leader and a musician, who would you choose?
